Hello! I am Anna Molnár!

I came from a little farm, from
South-Hungary via the Time For God
organisation. I am the volunteer in
St Philip’s with St Stephen and Sacred
Trinity Church during 10 months.

As I wrote, my name is Anna Molnár, I am
18 years old and I have got a sister, who
is 7 and a brother, who is 15 years. I
graduated in the last spring and sent
my application to the Teacher Training
School in Hungary. So this year is a
good practice to me, because I help in
the St Philip’s Church of England Primary School’s playgroup twice a week (this is my
favourite with the kind kids) and once a week for the After School Club. The second activity is
with Rev’d Andy Salmon who is the vicar in St Philip’s and in Sacred Trinity and Anja who is
another TFG volunteer in St. Clement’s Church in Salford.  I am in St Philip’s Church where
there is usually a little repair and cleaning working on every Wednesday. One of my favourites
is the Anglican Chaplaincy in the University of Salford on every Thursday. Here I can meet
with other youths of my age. The Thursday’s nights are for the Girl’s Brigade in the local
United Reformed Church (which is my denomination, too). We make a lot of handicraft things
and we speak about the important things in our life. For example: recycling, cooking and other
things that are interesting to the girls. And the last one is one of my favourites; too, this is the
Sunday school where I lead the group. We speak about the Words from the Bible and after we
make together some interesting handicraft things in the same themes. Hopefully, the number
of the members is growing.

I planned the volunteer year for 4 years because I think this is a good time when I can serve to
God. And during this time I can know another culture, language, habits and new foods.
