| The Revd Mark Haworth, Church of England parish priest for Pendleton, Charlestown & Lower Kersal wrote the following when Pendleton Church, St Thomas celebrated its 175th Anniversary in mid-October. The weekend of thanksgiving and celebration went very well indeed, and the church is very grateful for all the local support, and good wishes expressed; it is now committing itself to new plans for both the building, and its ministry across the NDC area in the years to come, along with the other CofE church at St Aidans, Lower Kersal (now fully re-opened), and in close collaboration with Fr Liam & our RC friends at St Sebastians. We hope to see you at our Christmas services, including school carol services. |
